Yeah... May 28th snow storm. Im over the snow...
2 inches May 28th. Its almost June!

This is the sign coming into my town. Does anybody know what it means? Im confused?
During my seminar, we taught boys of all ages about gender roles. Very interesting. I was proud of the girls that put these punks in their place. A good learning experience for everyone.

This was my team for the seminar. Great help.

One morning, I woke up and went to the outhouse. I heard snoring on the other side of my fence. Oh, it was just my neighbor who got drunk and fell asleep outside again. No big deal.

Me and my friends going camping for a few days. The puppy you see, walked up to us as we were walking through my town and followed us all 7 miles to our camp site.
She fell asleep when we got to the campsite. A bit tire to say the least
A nice campfire dinner and drinks. Going to miss being with these volunteers. Great people.
Just watching the sunset. No big deal.
Showing some smiles...
showing some skin...

The family in my yard had a new calf one morning. This little one is 5 hours old. We milk the cow within the first 12-24 hours for the craziest looking milk ever. Right after birth, the mothers milk comes out looking like eggnog or buttery even. If you steam this, it turns into an amazing treat called "Ureg". Its really tasty and full of vitamins and minerals. And lots of fatty milk.
Congrats to all my students that graduated. Many of these girls have been my best students over the past 2 years. I know they will go on to great things.

At a retirement party, we had these professional throat singers come and perform. Pretty cool.

This is by far the worst vodka I have ever had in my life. Rasputin did something wrong. Not cool.

We also had a really famous singer come and perform. The most powerful voice I have heard in Mongolia.

Great performers.

One last picture with me and Tsoodol. An Incredible man.

Oh yeah. He also loves to bust some moves on the dance floor with all the ladies. This is what I enjoy. Watching some crazy people tear up the floor with moves youve never seen before.
Before I was even finished packing up my things, my school came and took down my ger. Really surreal seeing your home taken down before your very own eyes.

At my going away party. People saying very nice things to me. Very humbling.
I accepted my new deel and they helped me put it on. Afterwards, all my teachers came in for a hug and a kiss.
Me with Ulzii. The best English teacher in Mongolia.
Me and my teachers joking around outside after the party.

I had the great fortune of working with some great volunteers on a project called Village to City. We took 10 essay winners from around Mongolia and brought them to UB and took them to over 15 businesses over 4 days to learn about career development. This day, NTV hosted us. Life changing for these kids.
One afternoon, we took this picture on the steps of the Government Building. A big thanks to Price Waterhouse Coopers for funding this project.

This is the map hanging in the Peace Corps office. It has a photo of where each volunteer lives. Im proud to have served in Peace Corps Mongolia. Keep up the good fight PCV's.
