The Philippines

A hidden lake on an island in Coron
Me being a dork amidst some of the most vividly colorful and alive coral Ive
ever been fortunate enough to swim around

Me swimming under a Japanese shipwreck from when we bombed them. Thanks America.

Me and Corey swimming with Whale sharks.
A whale shark feeding.

Jeepney's are a main source of transportation in the Philippines.
We rode them frequently. Sometimes even on the roof if they have
a roof rack.

This was basically the style of every boat in the Philippines.

Some beautiful islands in Coron. Many hidden lakes behind those humps.
A cove we ventured into.

We did a small hike to overlook some of the coves.

This is what almost every starfish looked like. And they were everywhere.

Our boat guide Raymon. Him and his buddy JoeJoe took us around much
of the islands. Really cool guys.

Amazing foods. Everyday.

These are called trikes. We rode these most of the time. Its a motorcycle
with an enclosed sidecar.

This was off our balcony at a hostel we stayed at.

Same

A 5am hike atop the city.

Typical streets in the islands.

This was Corey leading the way to the secret beach. You swim under these rocks,
into a small cave, until it opens up into a massive enclosed beach area.

Another landscape photo.

I just enjoyed this picture in the middle of the sea.

Another beach in El Nido.

Same

Mt. Mayon the day before we hiked it.

The church ruins that remain after a 1941 eruption.

Me and Corey hanging the day before our hike of the volcano.

Atop the volcano

To prove we were not in an airplane, and that we were truly the side
of Mt. Mayon, here is a pic with ground in it.

I enjoyed all of the rice paddy fields.

My legs took a beating from some wicked plants during the climbing of Mt. Mayon.

Dinner at our hostel. Caught daily.

Port of Cebu. Ready to head to another island.

2 little brothers that sat in front of us on the ferry. Almost
all of the kids in the Philippines wanted to play with you or
have their photos taken. I always obliged.

His shy brother.

The culture show we were able to watch on the river before going on our FireFly tour. The people in this town were amazing.

The Tarsiers in Bohol.

Yes they look like aliens

Our hut in the rainforest we stayed in a night

our last day at the beach gave us plenty of sun.

the walkway to the beach...

same.

We went and watched cockfighting on our last day in Bohol.

Betting with the locals at the cockfighting stadium.
Intense. The experience was unrivaled.

A park in Beijing.

The Forbidden City in Beijing.

The cuisine in China.

same

The night markets of China.

16 long days of travel and another night of sleeping in an airport. A bit delirious, but still laughing.
